* Based on our survey, it is likely we will need two groups at the U12 level

Modifications will be implemented consistent with Phase 3 of the State of Illinois’ Five Phase plan. The clinic will be limited to two groups that will skate on opposite ends of the ice with dividers separating the ice at the red line. The groups will be limited to 10 participants + one coach at each end which will consist of nine skaters, one goaltender, and one coach. In the event we move to Phase 4, we may increase the number of participants at each end to no more than 12 per end.

All rules that have been implemented by the Winnetka and Northbrook Ice Arena management teams will be followed. These include:

  • Arrive at the Ice Arena no more than five minutes prior to your scheduled ice time. (This will mean waiting in the parking lot until that time)
  • We will notify participants ahead of which door to enter the rink (each group will have an assigned entrance and exit)
  • Please come to the Ice Arena fully dressed to take the ice with skate guards on.
  • There will be no use of the locker rooms.
  • There is no switching of groups
  • No spectators will be permitted in the Ice Arena. Our coaches and/or rink staff will direct the players to the correct entrance onto the ice. Please wait outside at the conclusion of the session.

This clinic will be skill-based and designed to help improve core skills of skating, puck control, shooting, and passing. Our instructors will ensure that social distancing measures are adhered to and there will be no drills where players will come in to close contact with each other. We will follow all guidelines of our state and utilize best practices that hockey programs in the United States and Canada have implemented as they have returned to the ice. While we expect there will be a period of adjustment for the kids, we will adapt. The clinic will be led by members of our professional staff.

All sessions 60 minutes. Please note: there are separate registrations

The fee is $190 for six sessions. Goalie fee is $95

Unfortunately, we are unable to pro-rate the clinic.
